2010 2tr-fe torque specs for thermostat housing ?

    002.jpg 003.jpg I have a list of specs ,,, cant find this one. this is the aluminum thermo housing that thermostat has o ring.
    three bolts ( 1 bolt , 2 nut ) - also wondering if you guys are using a gasket sealer on new gasket ? old one apparently did not, came apart without scraping - and had a very slight leak.
    new gasket is napa 35445 , black standard looking gasket , with a bead of a permatex looking stuff ( blue colored } on cover side, engine block side is just black.

    Look at your first picture. See that blue line that goes around the gasket? That's your gasket sealer. Built in.

    Forgot to mention. You don't need a torque wrench for this. Snug it down, going nice and easy. You'll know it's too loose if it leaks.

    I realize blue stuff is gasket seal , guess I wondered why none on back ?.... anyways, task complete , ran truck up to normal temp with no leaks. now waiting for cool down , and check again. btw, I did not seal gasket on back. previous post from bill had instructions 15 lb torque .. thanx all
