2010 4Runner E-locker Diff fit Tacoma 8.4?

I read in Four Wheel & Off Road Magazine where the new 2010 Trail Edition 4Runner comes with an electronic locking rear differential. I also read where the new 4Runner diff is larger by "1/4 inch." I'm thinking that this means the 2010 4Runner may have gone from the 8" to the 8.4" diff. I'm trying to find technical info about the two diffs. Anyone know whether or not the new larger 4Runner diff size is the same as the Tacoma's 8.4"? If so, this might be a good option for non-TRD-OR owners looking for a locking diff.
