I'd like to buy the female side of this connector, which I think is a suimitomo connector.

Any idea what the part number would be for the opposite (female) connector?

This is the mirror wiring harness for a Driver's side mirror for a 2010 4Runner. I am doing the Blinkers/heated mirror/puddle light MOD to my 2015 Tacoma.

Thank you. At first I was a bit miffed that you sent me a 3,000 page manual but then I skimmed it and realized how intuitive it was. Wasn't hard to figure out the naming schema and I really appreciate your quick answer. I think I found my answer:

    Thanks again.

edit: 8/2/2019: 20:03PM EDST: After searching for hours for this connector online and realizing I can either order 1,000 units from Suimitomo or 5 from Japan (if it can even be ordered from Japan in low numbers like this) I realized there is no reason to use the OEM connector when there are plenty of suitable replacements easily found on eBay. There are only nine (9) wires in the 2010 4Runner OEM harness connector. So this is a 9 wire waterproof connector I plan to use instead of the OEM connector.

Yes, that connector catalog is intimidating when one first approaches it, but it really is pretty logical, and once the pattern is figured out the catalog is immensely useful.

If you have the mirrors like the thread post above you are going to need a bit more than just the plug, ie: switch, relay etc. I bought some 4runner mirrors for the same reason and have since gutted the tr4 mirrors, will be swapping the motors from the tacoma and wiring up with a factory switch. Ended up being a bit more than I thought but will be nice in the end. That thread above is clutch.

Using a Toyota OEM/like switch I got on eBay for $20, here is what I ended up with for a momentary on switch to trigger the timer for the heated mirror circuit:

    mirrorswitch.jpg

As you can see, the micro switch replaced the OEM on/off switch that closes the mirrors. I simply de-soldered the terminals on the OEM mirror close button at the rear, removed it, drilled out the square hole with a 1/4" drill bit and made it round. A little sanding with a round metal file made the micro push-button switch slide right in.

The two yellow switches are spares to show what they look like outside of the switch box. I got the micro switches on Amazon. $8 for 10. Normally open, push for momentary close (on). This triggers the timing circuit on.
