They were $240 each for the whole assembly. You only use the mirror not the arm that is supplied for the 4Runner. Painting both outer covers ran $120 and the RAV 4 heated mirror switch ran $45

Can you post pics of your heated mirror switch? and why did you have to use one out of the rav 4 ?? and did the 4runner come with heated mirrors?

No cutting at all they pretty much bolt right on the Tacoma Mirror Arm. They trick is when you disassemble the Tacoma and 4Runner mirror where the two bolt to there arms. There is a aluminum triangle looking piece that 3 screws bolt to and connects the mirror housing to the arm. The Tacoma triangle matches up perfectly to the 4Runner triangle spot and fits better when mounting the two together. Along with figuring out the wire it took me a couple hours. I felt it was pretty easy. Just alot of dissembling and reassembling back on the tacoma arm. Mirror control wires are the same color code and same pins are used. I just slid out the wires from the 4Runner connector and installed them in the Tacoma connector so there is no wire splicing.

Great work, more detail please. What year 4Runners are these mirrors on?

Also, apparently we need a sticky for "How to Subscribe to a Thread", which is terribly difficult, but doable for most of us:

    - Click "Thread Tools"
    - Select "Subscribe to this thread"
    - Confirm

Just _might_ cut down on the wasted posts. Like 4 1/2 pages for this one.

Saw that, but not being familiar with the 4Runner generations and body styles, I wasn't sure if the mirrors were only from a 2010, or if other years had it.

How did you get the lights to work? Any pics of the switch? Is the mirror larger than the Tacoma?
