Did you ever get these wired up. There is a really good thread that shows how to do it. Let me know and I'll send you the link.

Due to this thread every forerunner will now be on the hit list of every car thief. Please dont buy these mirrors if you arent sure they are not stolen. Reminds me when the newer chevys had the blinker leds on the mirrors, they were being stolen left and right and being sold to all who wanted yet another light on their trucks. Mine were almost stolen twice.
I'm all for this mod just make sure to not create a black market for these mirrors. Buy legit.

I've been dragging my feet on the Sienna mirrors due to it being early summer still, plus other mods and projects of course.
Last weekend I did get them out of the original casing and cut out the two wires I would need. But then I noticed that the upper corner is shaped different than the ones on the Tacoma. And I can't reuse the Sienna backing because it's a different mounting type.
So I think I'm going to sell the glass only (I scratched up the outer shells getting the glass out) on eBay and go with a good deal I found on the Muths. I see that the Sienna heated glass only is selling for as much as I bought the entire assembly for on eBay, so no loss there.
I really don't care about the directional on the Muths, so I probably won't hook that up, but it's still the cheapest and easiest alternative at this point.
Thanks for asking, and for your help previously.

Why do they have heated mirrors on the Toyota Sienna and not the Tacoma??? With the HUGE following of Tacoma owners it frustrates me when the 4Runner and FJ Cruiser have more mods to add and Tacoma owners have to fabricate their own mods. I guess it makes Tacoma owners creative, but I would have never thought a Toyota Sienna mirror or 4Runner mirror would work on my Tacoma. I like the looks of the 4Runner mirrors. Nice job! A lot better than the thread I saw before where you can make your own Tacoma heated mirrors.

Thanks for posting this! After I bought my wife a 2010 Limited I started thinking about how nice it would be to have these mirrors on my truck. I'll keep an eye on salvage yards for the parts.

Would there be a smaller OEM switch that fits the switch panel under the radio??? I have a TRD O/R and all my bigger switches slots are taken.

It's like when the maxima came out with hid head lights. They were super easy to steal without even opening the hood.I must have repaired over 200 maximas..it was funny to see so many driving around with 1 or no headlights. SO YES PEOPLE PLEASE DON'T BUY STOLEN STUFF,UNLESS IT FELL OFF THE BACK OF A TRUCK :D
