    AKA "Oil Pan Skid Plate"

Anyone know where I might pick one of these up for less than what the dealerships want?

TRDparts4u.com sells them for around 150 I think

    That's a great site. Thanks!

Unfortunately, the skid plate they have is the FRONT skid, not the ENGINE skid. I'm going to be picking up a bull bar that will take care of the front bumper.

Looks like SManZ may have what I want. I'm going to verify and may take it off his hands.

    Thanks guys

I have a 2010 4x4 Sport D-Cab and want to buy and install a Westin Bull Bar. The instructions say I have to remove the Factory Skid Plate. I don't think the small skid plate the Westin has, will protect my underneath as good as the Factory Skid Plate would. Does anyone know if I can "modify" or "cut-out" the Factory Skid Plate so I can keep both?

    Thanks in advance... Walt

Bull bars aren't made for offroad purposes neither is the stock skid. As long as the Bull bar skid covers some or most of the same area as the stock you should be fine.
