Anyone familiar with these? My girlfriends has 51k on it and the traction control light is on and she says it "jolts or jerks " when she gets up to 45 +- MPH..GM says they will hook it up to their computer and if its in the power train ,it will be covered under warranty. If not, we gotta lay down 95 dollars to pay them for reading the codes. I have a Scan tool but I think it only reads when the check engine light is on..which its not. Any input or opinions? Thanks.

She had a 99 model and traded it in on the terrain. And she dont like the new ones she likes the older land cruisers and Lexus models.

Scout the forums and find someone that owns a Tech-II that has current software and the proper CANbus adapter.
They would be able to scan codes other than the ECU codes, which is all the basic scanner can pull.
