Are the map lights suppose to come on with the dome light when i open the door or not. If not is there a way to make the maps come on as well with the dome. Thanks for any input.

Mine do not. I looked into it, and there are ways to make it work that way. Try searching something like “map lights on with dome light tacomaworld” in Google and you should find some instructions.
