2010 NCAA Football

Note: If I had more time, I would pull up some numbers and discuss them a bit. But I'm already running late tonight, so this is the best I can do with the sleep I'm missing.

Most important thing to notice in the quote above, LAST YEAR. New season man! There's a reason they write all those stats in the books, b/c they don't count in the present. Interesting fact, we each have a BYE week before our matchup. 2 weeks to completely focus on each other. What a game it shall be!! Of course, it's each of ours 9th game of the season. Don't want to waste the rest of the schedule counting down to this one game. There's some good matchups that come beforehand.

For LSU:

UNC won't come close to beating us. Florida & Auburn will more than likely be hard road games, but I am confident we can end up on top over the war eagles. I'm real curious to see how Florida fares without Tebow. I think they're going to be a force to be reckoned with for the boys in the SEC-East. I'm looking at having one loss when your boys come to town. It'd be nice to win both big road games, but I just can't see it happening. Maybe so though, we'll be coming off a 3 week home stand when we get to Gainesville. Some good ol' Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium may give us what we need to grab the W.

For Bama:
I'm thinking Bama may have trouble with Florida before they get to us. Something fun to watch about that matchup, and it jumps off the page when you look at the schedule. I also think that Arkansas may give you a run for the money. Joe Pa is bringing his boys at you early in the season, and you should never count them out. San Jose & Duke shouldn't be problems. I'm thinking a sleeper loss will sneak in on you with either the rebels or the "Ol' Ball Coach's" team.

That's just me glancing over the schedules a bit. Here's to praying all our student athletes stay healthy and the hurricanes stay far away from us!! In the end, that matters more than anything else. Those kids are giving all they have out there, which is why Saturday football is so much better than Sunday. Don't get me wrong, I love my Saints too, but there's something more pure about the college game. Looking forward to this season, and discussing it with you all.
