Just to throw something else out there. What's up with the Big 10? I can't believe all the hype they get. They are a big slow conference. OSU did beat Oregan in the Rose last year but they usually get smoked in BCS games. Except for the year OSU beat Miami, but how many first downs did OSU get in the red zone before they scored? Anyway Pryor is good but they play fewer games than anyone else. They have picked up Nebraska but should a team that goes undefeated in the big 10 be NC contender? I don't know I'm just trying to stir the pot.:stirthepot:

Only disagreement I have with what Bullzi said is that Ole Miss wouldn't play Bama in the SEC title game. We're both in the West. They'd probably play Florida.

Oh... and no way Ole Miss is beating us, of course :)

The line in our paper this morning is OU by 9.5. I think somebody got some bad information if they saw FL State favored.

Bilstein 5100's on all four with some OME 885x's. Brute Force Fab front bumper. Warn winch. Koenig countersteers wrapped with duratracs.

OSU does not USUALLY lose bowl games....yes the last few years they have lost but come on you cant base a decision off the last couple of years. For 2, Ohio State is ALWAYS a powerhouse, they get the hype because they deserve the hype, year in year out they are always a top ranked team. Along with many other BIG 10 teams. Big Ten football has history, that why it gets the hype it does. Plus they have one of the most recognized programs in the country ( you dont just randomly get to that status )....not trying to be a douche or anything...but those are the reasons in my opinion...but i am a lil bias...been going to games since i was in the womb...and remember my first game when i was 5 with eddie george agaisnt penn state...lol

    GO BUCKS!

The big 10 gets it's recognition from it's history. it has a great history. but they are 2 slow to compete with the faster more athletic conferences. that is why Michigan brought in rich rod. and it has really worked out for them.

I found this quote in an article (here) about Joe Pa's weekly press conference this week. Is it just me, or does it sound like he knows what's coming?

It actually should be a damn good game... Oregon hasn't really played in the humidity much, so it should be a challenge. I think the ducks are about a 14 point favorite... but, I think it will be a much closer game than that! Good Luck Saturday!

Yeah I think it'll be closer than predicted too. Tenn's d is underrated and plus they are playing with a chip on their shoulder after kiffin boned us last year. The 100,000 screaming fans at Neyland should help us too :D

Good point my friend. That's why I should not post up messages past my bedtime  And to think, I am in the SEC west as well. I was just figuring after the poor offensive performance, there's no way Florida would have one the East over yall. Forgot yall aren't on that side for that moment in time. Lol. I think the East is wide open this year.

^^^ I figured as much. I agree about the East, sort of. Obviously Vandy and Kentucky aren't going to win it. I think Tennessee is too far down this year, too, which leaves UGA, UF & SC. If I had to pick two that it will come down to, it'd be UF and SC, but I really couldn't pick one. I think everybody is putting a little too much stock in how well SC played against So. Miss. Their game against UGA this weekend will tell us a lot more. It'll also give one team a tie-breaker against the other if it comes down to an even SEC record.

I'm getting a little excited about AU at Miss. State tonight. I didn't get a chance to see anything but highlights of Cam Newton last week. I want to see how he handles a team from the SEC... even if it is the Bulldogs.

Tennessee might be worse off than I thought... Apparently Coach Dooley is focusing on his guys' shower technique... No kidding.
