2010 NCAA Football

I was honestly excited to see that Kansas had turned it around from last week and won today, against a ranked team...

 

The only thing that made today better for me is that Georgia Tech got beat and Tennessee got beat. I know, UT is in the SEC and I should root for the SEC...I just can't stand them.

I hate Ohio State. Just sayin.

 

Did NOT see the KU win coming. Glad it happened.

So... Since James Madison beat VT, too, does that mean that they'll be in the NC game with Boise State?

Finally... HOW 'BOUT THAT TIDE? Lots of respect for JoePa at the stadium. Standing O every time he was on the jumbo trons. The game itself felt like the SJSU game last week... Never in question. Trent Richardson is a beast!

 

As a Kansas fan, I was honestly relieved...recently we haven't been a football school (well, except when we beat VT at the Orange Bowl in '07), but losing last weekend was a blow to the collective KU ego.

It was great to see the Tide roll tonight! Penn State was good and moved the ball for several sustained drives, but Trent Richardson was a beast in Mark Ingram's absence.

 

The Ducks had a good 2nd half... Vols had a great first quarter and then just vanished. They're young and will be pretty good in a couple years.

Yeah... WTF happened to Va Tech? Not that I'm complaining. Anything that makes Boise State look like a pretender is fine with me. I'm just glad they didn't pull this after we beat their asses in last year's season opener.

So They interviewed the commish of the PAC 10 last night. He said when Boulder and Utah come over they are going to break the PAC 12 up into 2 6 team divisions.

Not sure how I feel about that

I haven't seen them play yet, so I don't know. Their QB is supposed to be the best in the SEC. (Ours has never lost a game and is an SEC and National Champion, but whatever.)

We play at Ark in two weeks. I suppose we will find out then if they're any good. We torched them last year at our house.

 

Arkansas started lookin pretty good last year. Honestly, I'd take Mallet over Mcelroy. Mcelroy is excellent, don't get me wrong. If Mallet played for Bama instead of Arkansas, they'd be a LOCK for another title in my book. He has almost single handedly brought Arkansas back to be a challenege every week. I expect him to torch UGA's defense next week. I say he throws for 350. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am.

 

Yeah... I don't take offense. Mallet is probably a better quarterback. McElroy can hit just about every pass, though, and he's a good game manager, which is all we really need with all that we have at runningback. So far it's been just fine with him. His backup (AJ McCarron) is going to be pretty good, too.
