X2, they didn't show, tough place to go play though, I thought they could keep it close.

No way Tennessee beats the jorts. That team is a cluster right now. Even with ANOTHER arrested gator, UF will win.

The east will come down to Florida and SC... Which means Bama will have to beat somebody twice if we want to repeat as SEC Champs. Ok.. So we don't HAVE to beat them in the regular season to be CEC Champs, but I have a feeling we will anyway.

So what are you guy's predictions for the Nebraska vs. Washington game...? One team has a Heisman candidate, the other a Red shirt Freshman QB. Many are calling for a upset and for Nebraska to tank... As a Husker fan I can see it going both ways, our offense is very green, but our defense is starting to hit it's stride. As long as big mistakes are not made on both sides of the ball for Nebraska, I can see us walking away with a win.

Michigan's defense is HORRIBLE. We are going to get killed once we get into the big 10 season. Robinson has to go. Now.

LSU finally had a good game. Too may FGs which should have been TDs. Great defensive play and an awesome night for Jasper (K.) 5/5 FGs & 5 interceptions. Surprisingly not the most ints for one game. We had 6 against State a few years ago in a Thursday night season opener.

Tenn disappointed me. Hate that they couldn't take care of business against the Gators. Ark/Georgia game got good the longer it went on IMO. Vandy took down Ole Miss which helps us out in the West.

Watching the Iowa/Arizona game now. Pulling for the hawkeyes to win it, though it'll be tough. Nothing against Az, just a fan of Iowa.

Oh, and did anybody see the Oregon score?? Geez!! They can put up some points. Feel bad for Donald Duck having to do all those push-ups!

And Bo Pelini seems to be well on his way to building up one hell of a football program. Wish it were in Baton Rouge...

The Tide did what was expected... Was almost a home game for us. Strange to see college football played in a stadium with a track around it. So much about their team was highschool-ish.

I'd say Ingram feels fine. Wasn't much of a defense, but he was cutting around running hard (seemingly) without any pain. He had 100+ yards after just 3 runs. Read somewhere that as of yesterday, only 8 players in D-1 football had 2 runs of 40yards or more. Ingram had 2 of those after three touches.

See what you think about their legitimacy a week from today.

I'm gonna say Bama wins against Arkansas, but I think it's gonna be closer than what you're expectin. I say it's a 10 point game at the most and Mallett throws for 300.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Ok, auburn fan chiming in here.

Last night we won by luck of the call. After rewatching the game in depth i will say there were 3 calls against auburn for 40 yards that were totally incorrect. however, we also won the game due to the quality of the refs there. I would say we are fortunate for the 3-0 record we have at the moment. In a world where auburn, as well as the refs, are consistent, we are a force to be reckoned with. However, the world isn't perfect and auburn will continue to be inconsistent to the point where it will not work out for us in the long run.

Was Kirk Herbstreit right when he said Auburn will win the west? As it stands, I say no. He may be right if it was a perfect world where nothing went wrong, but auburns team is still very immature. We have a lot of talent but lack the performing maturity to make us the team that deserves our top 25 rank. I continue to view my team, auburn, as a game by game team. Who knows if we beat SC next week. I won't say we will and I won't say we won't. If we bring our "A" game, there's always a chance for a win no matter who we play.

Now on to Alabama. In my years of watching college football, this is the best team i have seen. Usually I disagree with the top 5 rankings whether it be bcs, coaches,ap, etc, because those rankings convey how much a team wins, not how well they play. This is the first time i have felt a number one team truly deserves their number one ranking. Watching alabama play is like watching the NFL. The team is truly dynamic, able to adapt to their opponents strong points, and answer with an opposition that is better in almost every aspect. I feel that they will win the west, as well as the sec, and move on the the national championship with a very very strong chance of taking it all again. Now to something that most alabama fans disagree with me on. I watched every alabama game last year and this year. Last year they had a few struggles. Their biggest slip was against tennessee. Both team played great, but tennessee could have had that game. Thanks to mt. cody though, alabama pulled out the win. Then came the iron bowl. I sold my tickets to the game cause I thought we were going to be shutout, however, quite the opposite happened. We lost, and we lost well. The game came down to pure football. A southern rivarly fought with more than skill, but with pride at stake. This game was one of my favorite to date. Now to the point; what I think that alabama fans don't agree with. I feel that the Tide this year are much better than they were last year. They have played, and played great, without mark ingram. Watching that team play and adapt to their opponent has been amazing. Alabama possesses the ability and skill to beat whoever they play, purely because of their amazing team work. Seriously, for me words can not convey the raw power of this team. I will not be surprised that they take it all, without much struggle. This is the best college team i have seen.

I think Alabam gets exposed next week. We will need to put mws4ua on suicide watch when bama only wins by 30 over the pig sueys.

As far as Texas goes. There are a lot of things to be excited about, the defense being the biggest. I cant wait for them to get a hold of nebraskas QB. The down side is the youth. I think we are 2 years away from getting back to the title game. We had 12 true freshmen in the game against tortilla tech. So the future looks bright and the rest of this season is going to include a lot of nail biting and beer drinking.
