wow...one of the best games ive been to in a long time

AWFUL refs...on both sides of the balls

several no call/bad calls that i think changed the outcome of the game

I havent seen replays so there may be explanations as to why

On our kick return from what I understand it SHOULDVE been a safety...eliminates the need for OT

Our interception when his momentum took him into the endzone and the ball was spotted at the 1...it KILLED any momentum swing from getting the int and gave it to auburn

Oh well...bygones are bygones...Auburn was a great experience...I'd definately go back down there to watch another game...seemed like GREAT fans...great ballgame...and the eagle flight is very cool

Very well put, It was a good game to watch, I am just returning home from the trip, (four hours for me). Was in town all weekend, Clemson brought a ton of folks, and all that we/I spoke with were extremely nice. All in all a great weekend. I feel AU has a long way to go, The Cocks will kill'em. WAR EAGLE!!!!

I don't think that USC is going to beat us if we can play to our potential... but the problem is playing like we should. It seemed like a. The coaches told Cam to dive.. something he hasn't done the other 2 games. b. Chizik told Gus Malzahn to slow down the offense to give the defense a break.

When we run a quick offense we score just about everytime we touch the ball.

No watch required. I expect this week will be the closest we've had... which isn't saying much, since we've outscored our (non) opponents 134-19 so far this year. I still think we pull it out by a couple of touchdowns, though. When you only have to game-plan for one player, it makes it a bit easier.

As an Alabama fan, and a fan of a team competing for the SEC West... I hope you're right.

I am looking forward to the Carolina Auburn game this weekend. I think it will be the first real test Carolina has had, even the Georgia game didn't tell me much. We will see if Carolina is a true top 15 team by this time next week. GO COCKS!!

I can't believe Oklahoma and Texas didn't drop further back in the AP rankings after their unconvincing wins yesterday... Neither showed top 10 worthiness in their games... Texas had a hell of a time pulling one out on Texas Tech, and Oklahoma only beat Air Force by 3...

How about Taylor Martinez? Not bad for a Freshman... Thank god that we have him though, our second stringer got put in twice and fumbled on the first play of both drives... Our defense isn't looking too bad, I don't think Jack Locker is in the Heisman race after the show our defense put on him...

Now I just wish I had the money to afford a Nebraska vs. Texas ticket for that show... Should be pretty sweet... I can see ESPN making it their college gameday site that weekend pretty easily.

True. This will be a test for USC. I have to admit I am a bit troubled by their effort against Furman. I hope it was just a case of a bad week, but if they play like that against Auburn and Alabama the scoreboard will not be a pretty thing for gamecock fans. I hope this is not a case of them believing the polls. I can't really say that they have earned as high of a ranking as they have right now, but there is legitimate potential there if the O line can firm up and Garcia can focus and not throw pick 6's. The defense even looked suspect Saturday, giving up some big plays. Hope Ellis Johnson can make adjustments so that we don't up being part of a KFC meal!

    [ rant ]

I'm getting tired of hearing how 'down' the SEC is again this year. 4 of the 6 teams in the SEC West are in the top 17 in the AP poll... those same 4 teams are in the top 14 in the USA Today Coaches' poll.

Two Eastern Division teams are also in the top 17 in the AP, and top 15 in the Coaches' poll. That's half of our conference in the top 17/15, depending on the poll.

Is there another conference in college football with as many teams as highly ranked? Is there a tougher division than the SEC West?

Alabama opens its SEC schedule this weekend at Arkansas, then home vs. Florida, then at South Carolina. Starting with South Carolina, every single remaining SEC opponent on our schedule takes the week off before playing us. Every f'ing one of them. (I'm not a conspiracy theorist about it... it's just annoying.)

Nobody can convince me that their team has a tougher schedule this year than Alabama.

    [ /rant ]

Lots of talk of SEC and whether it's down on the radio today. Had to vent a bit.

I just read that Arkansas is going to try a "red-out" for our game this weekend. Newsflash, morons... We wear a shade of red, too. Not that our players give a rat's what you do in the stands, but if they do happen to look up, they'll just feel at home.

Also, the last two teams that did a "color-out" against us were Georgia and Mississippi State. Two years ago we jumped on UGA 31-0 by halftime before winning 41-30. Last season we beat a blacked-out Miss. State 31-3.

    GIMMICKS DON'T WIN GAMES!

    oooooooooOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH PIG, STUPID!

I don't care if you beat the hell out of us 2 years ago...but every post you make seems to have somethin about that in it. We all understand you don't like gimmicks. I mean, I agree with like 98% of the stuff you post, but I think I speak for most of us when I say everyone's tired of hearing how much you hate gimmicks. No matter how much you don't like it, teams are still gonna do it.
