It took them 4 years to conclude their investigation. And if I'm not mistaken, there is no champion if the original winner has to vacate the wins, it just goes as a year without a national champion.

I'm gonna assume he's talking about Bamas postseason ban back in the early 2000s. (I thikn that's when it was...don't remember.)

Not accusing anybody of anything... NCAA did that for me. And yes, our program has run afoul of the NCAA in the past. Who hasn't? We bent over, took our whoopin' and bounced back pretty well.

I keep up just fine, jack state.

someone said something about bama's stadium being the loudest when they were whooping the gators ass in 2005, im assuming you left before your idiot coach had his stars in going for big plays in the 4th qt when the game was over and ended up ruining prothroe's career. Im sure it was pretty quiet then.. just sayin

Yeah... that Prothro play haunts me to this day. Nasty break.

It was dead silent when that happened. Doesn't change the fact that it was loud as hell during the buildup and after the game.

I prefer to remember the Pontiac Game Changing Performance winner he had:

You wouldn't believe all of the news trucks in downtown Lincoln right now, it's a zoo... Closed off one street just to fit them all. Nebraska must be a bigger deal than everyone outside the midwest thought...

:eek:Wow, never saw those War Eagle rings. Maybe they are just as bad as USC. At least Sports Illustrated didn't put out 2 copies of the Natl. Champs edition that year.

I just think it's bogus for a school (that is a BCS school) to not follow along with the BCS system. The AP shouldn't matter. You know? And I know very well of all the faults of the BCS. I hate it and wish we'd find some kind of playoff system, but we have agreed to go with it, therefore we stand by it.

And I can't wait to see the PAC 10 fall on their face. And I'm excited that USC may actually get some competition in their schedule and have to play a conference title game. The SEC and Big XII have been doing it the right way all these years, and I think all conferences should. Just my 2 cents!
