TRUE TRUE TRUE! It just surprised the hell out of me when Kirk Herbstreit was backing up the SEC as the toughest and most dominant conference!

After watching Alabama drop one to LSU... They wouldn't have a chance of beating Oregon, I thought they were better than that... I guess bring on AU!

I hope we meet Auburn in the Championship!! I think it would be a great matchup. I wouldn't mind kicking the shit out of the Boise ponies though.

I doubt in will pan out, but TCU's D vs. Oregon's O would be an interesting game.

So now somebody has said that Newton was facing expulsion from the University of Florida for cheating. Who would know that other than the UF or the Coaches? Sounds to me like somebody's butts hurt because they don't have Newton playing for them. The Kenny Rogers saga didn't work so lets try something else. To what ends will the scumbags go to smear this kids name. If all of this is false, sounds like a lawsuit for the Newtons would be in order. Lets say to the sum of $200,000.

Listening to the radio now... The source of the academic issues from Florida might just be the student who Cam cheated off of. If that's true, there won't be grounds for legal action against the university b/c that student isn't legally bound to keep his mouth shut about cheating of any kind.

It's still all speculation... but I read your post as I listened to the radio and thought I'd share for anybody whose local sports radio isn't all-Cam, all the time like WJOX.

I wasn't listening to an all cam all the time radio show. I read it on ESPN and made my own opinion. And how convienient they say it came from a student. So nobody gets fired or in trouble about releasing the info.

No, No, No... I meant that I'm the one listening to an all-Cam radio show. WJOX (which I listen to most mornings) has been discussing nothing but Cam today. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I meant that, while it sounds like somebody at UF released confidential information, it could be that a student released the info to a reporter and there won't be grounds for a legal action. Either way... certainly feels like a smear campaign.

If the cheating story is true, he may not be at Florida at all anyway. Sounds like he was about to get the boot when he decided to leave.

Auburn helped make sure Georgia had a tough time making It to the title game in the 80s...I'm kinda hoping we repay the favor this week. I don't see it happening...but I can hope. I would like to see an SEC team win it again though...

This just in!! Cameron Newton caused the gulf oil spill and jaywalked yesterday when going to class. It is also believed that Cameron Newtons birth caused the fight between Chris Chelios and Ron Hextall on May 11, 1989 in a game between the Canadiens and the Flyers.

Vegas has closed betting on the AU/UGA game.

    I'm not joking.

Speaking of jokes, though... If you're on twitter, search the hashtags: #iHeardCamNewton and #CamNewtonStoriesCominOut LOTS of funny stuff with those.

Yea they would be in violation for sure. As for where it's all coming from, it could be coming from both Starkville and Gainesville. They could be both pissed he's not playing ball for them. Who knows?? I feel bad for the kid. Even if I wasn't an Auburn fan I would still think it's horrible whats happening to him. How come you don't hear about LaMichael James strangling a woman and spending 10 days in jail? Yea, he's a real stand up guy.

At least LMJ admitted to the mistake that happened, did his time (suspension) and moved on without any NCAA violations... sCam Newton is more & more appearing to be guilty as the allegations are piling up daily... Maybe he's innocent, maybe not?! Wathcing his press conferences as of late have shown me that he's nervous as hell (sounds guilty), not the same confident guy that I had seen before all the allegations became public. Time will tell, I just hope the NCAA can conclude there investigation soon... I don't want to see another Heisman vacated! Thanks Reggie!!

Newton is innocent until proven guilty. No reason for him to admit anything. I'm just saying that you don't hear about what happened to James when they talk about the heisman. The media picks who they want to attack. If they mention that Newton may have this, may have that, then they should at least tell the story about James. But it seems that has all been forgotten. As well as this story should have been too. NCAA investigated back this summer. Said he could play....that should have been the end of it. But it seems somebody is determined to ruin this kid. FK it! All Auburn can do is keep winning. Hopefully they will.
