Just traded my '06 Tacoma in on a 2010 PreRunner (quad cab). Took the (OEM) trailer wiring harness off the old P/U and put in on the new one. Hooked right up under the dash - same plug but different colored wires. Toyota usually stays with the same wiring when they add new stuff as they improve. Problem is that there's no juice to the trailer. Looked in the fuse box and I see there is a space for a trailer relay. Anyone know if the 2010 PreRunner actually needs a relay for the trailer wiring harness or am I missing something else? The '06 didn't need a relay. Thanks ahead of time for the help.

Besides the harness, you also need a 30A fuse, and a trailer relay.
