Good job mike for going out there and trying to do your thing. as we all know shit happens. and if you makes you feel better the course was gnar. I have seen pictures of Mcmillin driving on a rim and the tire flapping around in the wind. And B.j. Baldwin Broke down like 3 times. One time took so long to fix the truck they even washed it in the pit before he left to finish  and I forgot what team it was but they broke 4 Walker Evens Race Bead locks

Sucks that he didn't finish the race. I think the truck missed the trailer and wanted to go back on jack stands.

Awesome pics, Derek! Thanks again for coming out -- it was great having you there!!!

That's hysterical! I heard 1 team complaining about how they change 4 tires early in the race, and after changing that 4th tire they blew BOTH front tires at the same time with the next mile. It really was insane out there. A lot of the race seemed closer to rock racing than desert racing! Lots of carnage this year all around!

1 team my dad was speaking with took 5 years to finish a race at Primm. Another team has been at it for just as long and has yet to complete a race on that course. Hopefully next year will be my year. :)
