2010 rad fluid interval question

went to the dealer this wknd to get some radpink fluid. crap cast 20 a gal.
they ask me you got 100k on it already. i said na just 42k. its not needed bud. 100k interval change. what ya'll think. i cant rap my head around not drain and replacing rad juice once a year. specially in our heat.(houston texas)

 

should the dealer do it? or can what they used be purchased elsewhere?

 

I bought my last Toyota rad fluid at Carquest Auto Parts. I believe I got it for $14 a gal. I don't know if they have them in Texas but there is a cheaper option.

 

I change mine every 3 years now,,, used to be 2. I plan to flush out the Toyota specific fluid and move to an off-the-shelf brand. Get away from the dealer lock sh-tuff.
