I've had a problem from day 1 with my 2010 Regular Cab 4WD Tacoma when I hit bumps with the clutch depressed. I hear a rattle similar to a loose tailpipe rattling against the frame. Took it back to the dealer 11 days after I bought it and they said 'they all do that' and 'it's just a characteristic of the truck'. After going through two dealerships and two technical specialists, customer service, and arbitration I still got the same answer, even though the service tech at one dealership went out with me for over an hour troubleshooting it with ChassisEar remote sensors and troubleshot it down to the transmission. He then told me that the transmission would probably have to be replaced, but that the regional Technical Specialist would have to look at it first. After he looked at it he said 'They all do that' and there was nothing more they could do. Has anyone else encountered this type of rattling with their truck?
