GUAM has away of doing things just like Hawaii and the world. You see its just where I come from we are all about pride and family then the few of us take it up a notch and show the world what we can do with our island backing us up and making our island known

I have the truck loaded up in the intercontinental transport and heading to Guam.....I have a few wiring projects going nowhere that I could use the help with.......mostly cuz I'm too lazy to do it and procrastinate a lot but was motivated to put truck in shipping container and drive a ship to Guam. Seems easier somehow :anonymous:

    Dude, this is freakin' AWESOME.

At least once a week someone makes a thread asking about a V8 swap. It's about time someone actually balled up and did the damn thing. :dancingbacon:

I know you said you didn't take a lot of pictures or anything along the way, but can you go into some more detail about what you went through to get everything in there and working properly?

    - Engine mounts
    - Cross member
    - Random parts from other models you needed?
    - Was wiring pretty straight forward, or did you have to do a lot of re-pinning and running of wires to make everything talk?
    - Any other custom work needed (additional wiring harness, custom AC lines, etc.)?

Nothing straight forward about the wiring this guy did. Would have been way easier to use pretty much all the electrical from a 4Runner (uses same gauges/instrument cluster as Tacos) but instead he hacked his OEM to work with the Tundra ECU so you bet your ass tons of identifying, splicing, repinning... my head spins just thinking about doing all that. On the plus he used an old Tundra engine so no VVTI to deal with and probably no immobilizer and drive by wire headaches

NC is closer lol but not nearly as exotic. Would be silly to use a shipping container to ship it here anyways. Wiring is kinda my thing too.
