    Gang-
Two weeks ago I totaled my Jeep (no injuries/no fault accident:)) in the snow and the insurance company is calling it a total loss. I am taking the check and putting it on a new 2010 Taco supercab.:D

I am looking for some feedback on the potential mod of my new truck with TRD supercharger and TRD Cat Back Exhaust. The dealer told me today that if TRD supercharger and Exhaust are installed upon purchase of the new vehicle the warranty covers 5 yrs/60,000 miles.

I like speed, torque and an adreneline rush. Can anyone give me a rundown on the pros and cons of this setup?

Also, I am an avid snowboarder and hit the slopes 40-50 times a season. How will this bad boy handle in the snow?

    Thanks

cons, i dont get gas mileage, and you have to put in 91 which is 4 bucks extra a tank (im not worried about either one)

    ktmrider-
That is all I needed to hear. Truck is being built and will be delivered by mid-april. Hopefully earlier.

I take it that this bad boy won't have any trouble in the snow?

Might want to toss in some sandbags for added weight in the back, but shouldn't have any problems! It's a Toyota, what could go wrong?

    Welcome!
These trucks seem to do pretty good in whatever environment you throw at them.
The Off Road package has the rear locker, the Sport has the LSD I believe. If you're gonna be in bad environments a lot you should look into dumping the stock tires and getting something more off road oriented.

I've got a 2010 4x4 and I drove up to Tahoe from Mountain View 6 times this year in heavy snow and it drives like a charm even with the stock tires. Are you getting a 4X4?

You are right on that one. Dealer called me back and said he gave me the wrong info. I am thinking about getting the extended warranty because I plan on keeping this 1 for a long time.

    Welcome.
    Get the intake too.
Extended warranties are available from someone on this forum cheaper than the dealer will give it to you.....unless you tell them about the guy here and his price, have heard of several dealers matching the warranty price that guy sells them for. The platinum plan or somethin like that. Search on extended warranty here, you'll find it.
Make sure you get leaf spring pack with 4 leafs.
