Wait a few days... I have heard that Toyota will be offering unheard of incentives because of all the recalls. Good Luck with your purchase!

I just bought mine last weekend. Paid $29,600 before fees, licensing, etc.

2010 Black Sand Pearl 4x4 Tacoma
    Double Cab
    Long Bed
    4.0 V6
TRD Sport Package w/ JBL Sound

Fully-loaded, basically. First quote was at around 31K. Had to negotiate quite a bit to get it to that price. All in all, I am VERY happy with the purchase :D

no "meanness" taken. haha. I basically started with an online quote from all the dealerships in my area. took the best quote and brought it to all the other dealerships, asking them to beat the price. after a few trips to different dealerships, the price dropped quite a bit. i finished my journey by bringing the lowered quote to the dealership i started with (which I knew had the exact model i wanted - there were only 2 of this configuration in the state of CA) and told them to then beat THAT price.

It took about a week or so, but it definitely does feel great knowing that you didn't get gipped and in turn saved some money. :)

Just came from a few dealerships in Virginia. Sticker prices were 31k. None of the incentives or deals included the Tacoma's. Figures one guy said later this month they were having a sale which included 3.9% financing. So I'm gonna wait till then and haggle the price of the truck then.

speaking of financing, i got 1.9% APR for 48 months.

They had some great offers for those with approved credit, I did qualify for 0% APR for 36 months, but I needed a little bit of cushion month-to-month.

I have one on order. 31.6k sticker 29888 + ttl. Still have a few more weeks before delivery. I go back and forth, sometimes I think it's a ok price other times I don't. Wish Toyota would do better on the incentives, starting to get cold feet.

It might be easier if we all list what the sticker price was, and then what you paid for the truck only (do not list tax, title and license, doc fee, etc.).

My 4x4 access cab 2.7L had a window sticker of $26,113. Got the truck for $22,700 (includes a $500 trade-in allowance for a worn-out 97' Jeep Cherokee), so I guess you could say I actually paid $23,200. Bought it less than two weeks ago.

So how did I do compared to others here?

It seems that the sticker price for the 2010 is 30k plus. Is the TRD package really worth all that extra money? I have a 2009 Double Cab non-TRD 4x4 with the tow package and I walked out the dealership paying 25,500 including all fees and taxes.

You guys are depressing the hell out of me!

I'm in Canada, and we have leased our last 4 vehicles at the same dealer.

I went into this dealer to start negotiations on on the 2010 Tacoma TRD DC and the sticker price is $36995. The first offer we are presented with is sticker minus $1250 which is the $750 loyalty and $500 customer incentive.

I tell him I would like to thank Toyota for the $1250 off, but what would will the dealership do for us based on leasing our last 4 vehicles here. He offers up another $250 off...to make it an even $1500 discount.

I then tell him the leased Matrix AWD still has 2 payments ($400 X 2) left, so he offers to take the Matrix and absorb the $800. Then i watch as he reduces the the original $1500 discount to $700. So basically we are making the payments and he takes the Matrix! Unbelievable!

It was getting close to closing so I told him I would be back tomorrow with my offer. Carcostcanada has the invoice for this truck at $34000

First post here but I have been lurking for a while. Great site. I got my TRD Sport DC SB for 29138 +TTL through Internet price. They gave 3.9/72mos because I told them my employee credit union was going to do 4/72. I was happy with my deal. I had been shopping around for a while and this was the best I could do.
