Thanks man!!


I know some guys hate the scoops and that they are 100% for looks. But I personally love the look and HAD to have one so about a month ago I waved some random dude down who had the same color truck but with this hood and offered him some cash to do a swap...and after a month of pleading I finally met up with him yesterday evening and did the switch!!

.....Not a fan of the bug shield that came with it but I’ll take it off this weekend! Tomorrow the trail gear bumpers and the flowmaster 40 are going on!!!!!!!!!!!! (Giggles like a schoolgirl)

 

Im with you on the hood scoop. I had to have one to, but now i have a really nice non scooped hood that nobody wants lol

 

Best of luck, it was a hassle to find someone.....I think he just got annoyed with me to the point where it was less of a deal and more of him trading me so I would go away haha

Today was a good day.

 

That’s what I’ve been waiting for.

 

Sweet setup

 

Took waaaaaay too long! Haha but man it was worth getting them!

 

Made my own bed rails with Camper Shell Clamps, Super Struts, and Strut Nuts



Then mounted my Smittybilt RTT

Don’t have a pic of it popped out all pretty yet, but it’s on its way this weekend when I test it out!

 

Did a Road from from NC-Jekyll Island-Panama City Beach!! Rolled over 160,000

Tested out the RTT and overlanding setup last night!!

Cabelas Cooler held ice suuuuuuuper well

This little butane/propane grill worked epically!

 

Had tons of room!

Then busted out the trusty/proven jetboil with my coffee press and used my new javamill to grind out fresh beans

 

Update: Nothing new, living down in Panama City Beach to learn how to breathe underwater, just finished my online college class so now I’ll actually have time to chill and have some fun

The Cabelas Cooler I bought through my dad for the truck was WORTH IT!

The wife is coming down to visit next weekend.....trying to convince her to bring down my new tail lights .....she’s not having it

......Goodthing with being down here is that the diving is paid for! I wouldn’t be doing anything to the Toyota for a while if I had to come out of pocket for it. Tested out my Chinois Go-Pro at depth, and it survived.....looks like it’ll be coming with me on some wheeling trips in the near future!

Semper Fi! Truck is looking great and I second the hood scoop. Looks awesome.

 

Reworked the AR, compliments of Primary Arms on that Platinum 1-8 with the Griffin Reticle! (Gun game has put a slight hold on the taco parts)

 

Needing a camper shell now!

 

Spent about a month living out of the cab.....man at times do I wish I would've held onto my RTT.....but it made my truck so much heavier and bed pretty much useless!

Recents:
Picked up an ARB Snorkel. Still Looking for a camper (hard to find without paying new prices) also looking at cheap bluetooth stereo systems, and maybe some fitted seat covers.

Over the years coils in my sixth cylinder have been giving me issues. Taken it to three mechanics to include two different dealerships and they haven't been able ro figure it out

 

And today Brutus ascends into the heavens.....met the biggest moron on the road in all of NC who decided it was his turn to cross HWY 17 without looking.....he will be missed
