It's a truck, a slight driveline vibration is not a big deal. It's only noticable, because the refinement level overall is so high.....
What specifically is the issue with the tires?

The Tacoma has some glaring faults. (No heated mirrors, no light 4X4 switch, 7-pin under the hitch, no bed light, no bluetooth on O.R...) It lacks some features that are silly. But it is the best midsize overall, and that is the reason most people buy them. Toyota is a typical japanese company; stellar engineering, but miss the obvious because they don't understand the end user...
The tires are chosen for fuel economy, and are not terrible, but not great either....

My 06 has 56K on it and the previous owner (I bought it used) had no problems whatsoever with it. I've had it for 6 months, and the only problem was a faulty catalytic converter, which is easily replaced. Otherwise, no problems :)

I have been known to complain about a few "issues"
no heated mirrors, no IPod jack, but please those are NOT quality issues

Definitely, the paint scratches so easily. I thought the paint on my mazda was bad but swirl marks just from driving on highway is a bit much.
