2010 Tacoma extra buttons removal

I have made a light bar for my 2010 tacoma looking to wire the lights and put the switch on one of the extra slots for buttons.
i am looking to remove one of these slots would anyone have any tec info on how to remove them.
there are 4 sets of extra buttons, 2 on the left side where the fog light would be located and 2 bellow the AC controls by the lighter.

You can do one of two things. Either remove the lower portion of the dash (tan portion that is pictured), or you could possibly remove the coin holder and if your hands are small enough, get them in there to slightly squeeze the clips that are attached to the blanks and they will pop right out.

 

Pull out the fuse panel pocket and push from the inside. Simple...
