Most of my driving so far has been around town and its a lot of stop and go because of traffic. A buddy of mine has an 08 and he said he averages about 28 mpg on a trip. The take off power also surprised me because of the 3.4 2000 Tundra I had. I have an 06 Tundra V8 and I could really tell a difference between the 2000 and 06 taking off but I can't tell as much difference between the 06 and the Tacoma.

Yesterday I figured I only got 15.9 mpg on my last tank. Average acceleration, and half highway miles doing about 10 mph over the speed limit.

I'm gonna really granny this next tank and see what happens..

I'm getting about 15 mpg on my 2010 TRD, about 280 miles per tank, no lift, no mods. Any ideas anyone?
