TRD cat back exhaust, rain visors, limo tent on back pasenger windows and 35 percent added to back factory tint window. 35 on front driver and pasenger side. Sport pedals, all weather fl mats, roof rack, front skid plate , BFG ALL TERAINS including spare. ALL installed by dealer.
Explanation for you. Say you are driving a long and one of your back wheels starts to spin and the harder you press the peddle, that tire just keeps spinning and digging deeper and deeper while the other tire is doing nothing. That is called an open differential. Our trucks will apply all their power to the spinning wheel to try and get you free. Only problem is that sometimes that just makes it worse.
At this time if your truck has the Rear Locker you can press it and it wheel lock the differential in the back so that both tires get 50/50 worth of power. Now that free tire that was just doing nothing can get your moving. The rear locker has nothing to do with the front wheels.

    I hope this helps.

    this thread is fkn epic!

i think your dealership was explaining the locker button on the trd offroad models. locks the rear only. nothing to do with the front. maybe they were talkin about the 4wd knob on your dash? 05+tacomas have a selectable knob on the dash to engage the 4x4...which would send power to the front wheels.?
maybe...? im lost. but i think the OP is too

Does not exist.... on any vehicle Toyota or not. Not only that... it wouldn't do anything to help. It'd be like when a dog drags it's ass on the ground pulling itself around with it's front legs. Unless you're wiping your tail pipe it makes no sense.

But guys, Its kinda like how when your driving and then you cant do it so you feel like you can and then you just go. So then you get stuck and the wheels are there but then they are not. The back slips and it seems like you are dead. But then your not because the front helped.

Don't worry OP. I got you! I think we went to the same school.
