Just recently purchased a 2010 Tacoma Trd in Silver Streak. Luv the truck.
A little hard on gas, could be it is still not broken in yet. Really enjoy this forum and look forward to doing some minor mods.

 Welcome from SC, once she gets broken in and they get rid of "winter" gas up in Canada you should get much better MPG's (or Kilometers/Liter?)

I think the Taco is similar to my old 2006 Frontier in that it takes 3-5 thou miles before it's broken in and getting it's best mpg. I'm at 3700 miles on my 2010 and it still seems to be getting better; although still not as good as my Fronty's.
