2010 Tacoma?

Toyota has just anounced the minor changes for the 2010 Tundra...change in the grill and headlights, and a new 4.6L V8 that makes 310hp and get 3 mpg better than the outgoing 4.7L!

Has anyone heard if 2010 will bring anything new to the Tacoma?

 

Probably not since they just did a few changes in 09. I wouldn't expect any drastic changes until 2011-2012.

But when they do change I would think the Tacoma will resemble the tundra/sequoia since the 2010 4runner has that look now according to the spy photos.

 

Ya, I do agree with that. Maybe new colours and wheels.

 

Maybe leather seats???????? That would be nice.

 

anybody here on price and availability yet?any word on regular cabs this year in Canada?

 

new for 09 is the 4X4 access with the 4 banger and 5spd.

 

I read this wrong the first time. I thought you said v8 and TACOMA at first. I was about ot get unhappy! LOL

I went to the La Auto show and saw a Taco with a 4.7 V8 but I don't know if it was for 2010...

When I bought my 09 the dealership told me that they werent expecting to see any significant changes to the tacoma until 2012. I like the way this truck looks right now though significantly more than its competitors.

Wow there is a whole lot going on in there.....I am lost already....and cheap wood grain....come on.

 

I'm not sure if this is the case now, but when I picked up my '05 DC Sport you could not get the side impact air bags unless you went all out and choose the fully loaded off road package. In fact, you also could not acquire the vehicle stability/traction control option either without the loaded off road package, which I belive was combined with hill assist? In any event, it would be nice if these were options today or in the future.

 

Good, I guess that's the down fall to buying the first year model.
