This is a ridiculous question i cant believe even has to be asked. But i have read about all the bending/damage from loading the tailgate. Would i have to worry about putting my weight on it(150 lbs), or even me and someone else sitting on it? Or is it mainly quads/dirtbikes that cause the problem. I dont want to f@@@ up my tailgate.

Yes and I want to say the manual states 200 but I'd think two fat men would probably be ok

I'm 180 pounds and I sit and stand on mine all the time. No issues yet. I also load MX bikes into the back that weigh around 225 pounds.

Having said that this is a flimsy tailgate and I'm always mindful about it. Just don't assume you can treat it like an F350 and you'll probably be fine.

May be just a mater of time for me but I put weight on it all the time. Have since 2008 when new. Have had 3 plus sized males sit on it many times, bags of concrete, haul lumber resting on it up and down, 300+lb dirt bike..... A tail gate reinforcement is in my near future just in case though.

Yes you're fine.Eventually over time these tailgate's get weaker and its understanding.Due a search and look into a tailgate reinforcement for the inside part of the bed.
