The FJ back seat is like a sensory deprivation chamber as far a rear seats go. Look for a '08-'09 4Runner. Built in Japan, full boxed frame, good size, tight turning radius, common parts to the FJ/Taco. Last year, Toyota U.S. offered a 4Runner with the same FJ locking rear axle. Not available in Canada. Oh well.

I loved the FJ, loved it a lot however, with kids it wont be comfortable. I took my son on a 3600+ road trip in mine and he wasn't the happiest dude in the back seat. I ended up pulling the airbag sensor plug and letting him ride shotgun. Now if you want a badass family rig I can say the new 4Runners are killer, the rear seats recline about 15 degree's.
