Truck repaired by North Brunswick & Collision Southside Customs and Collision New Jersey
Just picked up my 2010 Tacoma after the frame was repaired by Southside Customs and Collision in Brunswick, NJ. The local Toyota dealership told me the frame was rusted and they could replace it for $24,000.00 (NOTE: I took it to the dealership a few years ago during the rust recall and they sprayed it with CRC to stop the rust). Southside used made-to-fit frame repair sections fabricated by SAFE-T-CAP. The repair cost me $1,300.00 (price included the frame sections). Southside also coated the frame areas with Rhino. I am a VERY SATIFIED Toyota owner.

LOL $24,000 for a frame replacement on a truck worth ?? $12 to 20K dep. on mileage etc.

Nice save using the DIY route & Safe-T-Caps, that's part of what TW forums is all about.

Do you think the CRC coating contributed to the frame rotting out?
