I got the silver streak mica TRD Off Road access cab. I had the dealer turn the white letters tires inside and add all black running boards as part of the deal.

The first mod/accessory I bought was the weathertech digital fits.

And you're right about the grin :) The highlander was a good car, but the taco is the better vehicle for me without a doubt!

Yep, this dealer was very nice (Freedom Toyota in Harrisburg btw) but I bought it on 12/31 about an hour before closing time so I don't know if they always let people try it for a couple of nights when they are haggling. :) but they were very courteous and respectful.

I will post a formal introduction and pics when I get time. But this forum helped me cement my decision, everyone is so helpful. It's cool to be a part of the taco community.

In many heavy duty trucks there are only outside mirrors. If you could attach the back up camera to another screen then you could remove the mirror and use the outside mirrors.

I thought my rear view mirror was screwed up like it was mounted to the middle of the windshield. I grab it and shoved it up. It has multiple adjustments that you don't realize are there. They must be coming fully extended down from the factory.

6'5 here. I took the mirror and sunvisor off the first month I owned the truck (5 years ago) and haven't looked back. I have limo tint on the rear windows anyways so I can't see much behind me so I didn't have much to lose. The rear view mirror is huge for the size of the truck. My visibility has much improved around right hand turns...especially right hand turns downhill.

I'm 5'9" and have no complaints over the mirror. I am definitely loving the backup camera for downtown parking!
