Just picked up a Micro Mini 2108DS in Iowa and brought it home to Colorado. No modifications on the Transmission. I wanted to see how the stock truck pulls. I've been pulling a 2009 Trailmanor 3124KS all over the country with no issues since 2010. The Trailmanor is 400 lbs lighter and low profile. I ran it up to 80 mph and got an average of 12 mpg pulling it. The Micro Minne dropped to 11 mpg average running in the 60 to 70 mph. I watched the transmission temps before the pull. It ran at 176 on both the pan and converter running at about 80 mph. With the pull it would hit 224 briefly running 65 - 70 in drive. So I dropped it into 4th gear most the time and found it ran an average of 186 degree with a rare hit above 200 degrees. I will add a tranny cooler later this summer after I make one run up into the mountains. I would like a baseline on the temps. The max outside temp from Iowa was 80 degree.

pretty amazing what they can do. I tow a 7500lb boat and trailer combo with it and it does great. Mileage drops down to 10mpg. I do have SOS BBK, OME Dacar leafs and 4.11 gearing on 285/65/70 AT's. it's only 2wd and I've never had a tire as much as slip on even the slickest ramps we have around here.

I will be getting a Tundra most likely as soon as i can only due to my trailer being rated at 10k and wanting to be legal.
