2010 TTD Supercharger Problems

I have 116,000 miles on my 2010 Taco, and it is starting to sound "gritty" in the blower. The dealership says it's the bearings in the rear of the supercharger.

I had a supercharger on my 01 Taco, and after 286,000 miles had no problems at all with it.

Does this sound right to you guys? Dealership recommends replacing the blower...which I will not with TRD...I'll go with URD. Shit!!! $$$

Are there any other ideas/recommendations/advice? Can the supercharger be rebuilt? If so, is it worth it?

I would send it off to stiegemeier and have it rebuilt.
