I should have taken more pics along the way but you know how that goes. Here is the truck in all of its stock glory....
    1205161653.jpg
I decided to upgrade the tiny little brakes with a StopTech BBK.
    IMG_20150411_184024033_HDR.jpg IMG_20150411_194137490.jpg;)
    Before.... After....

My next mode was bigger fuel injectors (800cc Siemens Deka) and a Unichip.
I purchased the Unichip because it is the only thing available as a piggyback plug and play unit available at the time. I think the connectors for the 2009+ are slowly becoming obtainable now but it was all an experiment for me. I ran the truck like this for a while to try and learn how to get it to run right without the turbo first. I probably ran it like that for about a month before I decided to finally get the turbo kit installed. I looked and cant find the pictures of the Unichip install at the moment but it was straight forward as the term suggests, plug and play.

So after I became comfortable getting the truck to run without hurting it along the way I decided it was time to have the turbo kit installed and start having some fun. I found out quickly that the stock ECU doesn't like anything but 14.7 in closed loop. I had read that but didn't realize how aggressive it really wanted that 14.7. I tinkered with many things and ate up 2 O2 sensors in the process of running rich for fear of destruction. ;)

Here it is with the turbo installed and AC lines dealt with! I rerouted them the hard way!
    0424161831_HDR.jpg
So after this was done it was off to the exhaust shop....
    IMG_20160305_104126501.jpgIMG_20160305_104134844.jpgIMG_20160305_104437893.jpg
From here it was time to start dialing it in on the street. I ran into a few issues with the truck falling on its face at WOT due to the large injectors and my lack of experience.
After a few weeks of tinkering I was content with the truck and began slowly putting some weight on the right foot. It was finally making some power!!!:D:D:D

It was dyno time...so off I went. Sorry no pics on the dyno. DO you get the feeling I suck at documenting my adventures yet? Spent about 30 minutes dialing it in slowly and whn I looked over at the screen on the one pull where it finally came up off the 10. AFR mark and after taking a BUNCH of fuel away at WOT she responded with the below run but I was abruptly stopped by the dyno operator stating "I think your clutch is slipping , don't run it again. Let me check the log" Sure enough he was right! Can you guess what happens next?
    dyno.jpg
You guessed it! Upgrade the clutch and while im in there why not do the TOB mod and lighter flywheel!:D I went with the URD stage 3 and have not been back to the dyno to attempt any additional tuning. I know there is still a bit left to extract but I haven't had the time. Procrastination is a %*&%(!
    0406161826.jpg 0409161537.jpg 0409161551.jpg 0409161551a.jpg 0409161633a_Burst01.jpg
So there you have it for now. I am currently in possession of a Haltech Elite 2500 which will soon take over the fuel/ignition management and it will be time to increase the boost from the 5PSI it is at and go to 8 and then 10.

If you were wondering, the dyno run above was at 5PSI on 93 octane:thumbsup:

I am sure I am missing a bunch of things and I will edit it with more as the journey continues...
    1205161653.jpg IMG_20150411_184024033_HDR.jpg IMG_20150411_194137490.jpg 0424161831_HDR.jpg IMG_20160305_104126501.jpg IMG_20160305_104134844.jpg IMG_20160305_104437893.jpg dyno.jpg 0406161826.jpg 0409161537.jpg 0409161551.jpg 0409161551a.jpg

Since URD is so difficult to get information from...Here is a pic of the harness I hope to make work. Boomslang built, Unichip to Haltech conversion.
    harnesa.jpg
    What? Did someone say T-56.....

    A short pull...
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4wQ1zI9mxLEdGxGYllWU0ZSNXM/view?usp=sharing

So I have done some more mods and converted the rear brakes to Stoptech disk brakes.

That little spring cap was a real mother!!!! If anyone has a tool that would work well there please drop the link. Yes, I relocated the brake lines to clear the bump stops....

I also am now running E85!
I finally got around to adding the Flex Fuel sensor. While I was at it I added the EBC and the Haltech has handles both very well. I am now at 8psi and the truck pulls very well. I am still playing with the tune. I did throw 20 bucks of E85 in the tank at 1/4 full with 93 and it gave me 47-49% ethanol content. THe Haltech adjusted perfectly and the truck picked up a few HP and accelerated with ease. More to come....

Next up will be the master cylinder upgrade and stand alone clutch fluid reservoir...

yota, it is a Precision 6766. I take no credit for the kit. It was built by a shop in TX I believe it was called PowerFab. The dude who had it before me blew up the motor which was built and stroked.
From what I understand he had a lot of money in it when it went and he just gave up on it all. He had the kit sitting there and I got wind of it and was lucky to scoop it up. It is a front mount IC and it is piped clean but still not ideal as I have some pipe rattle noise from time to time. I need to get in there and secure it up and redo a few bends. But the exhaust side is just about perfect.

No, its stock. It was hard for be to believe too. It is a 4.0 liter though. Lots of space to fill with fuel/air! I confirmed it against a friends Subi with 368HP from a 30MPH roll it was door to door until the speed limiter. :headbang:
He also couldn't believe it and has since blown it up trying to boost it past the 18PSI he was at when we ran. I tried to warn him it would pop if he kept pushing it. Boost can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
I will put it on the dyno again soon and tune it right. I think I can get 400 with ease.

Sure it is. CFM of the turbo. That turbo blows!

Efficiently designed kit by my old buddy Alex. Three more psi and his would be around 400 whp.

    All on the stock block.
