If you do get some Injectors Dynamics, then get the size which will feed your ultimate engine HP goal, with consideration to the fuel you plan to use.

I have my Dead times for my stock injectors. Want me to post them up?

Doesn't hurt to try. As long as you have the proper size entered as well.

Get a used ecu from an '05-'08. Get the harness that matches. Make sure both match the majority of the components that yours has.

Then you'll no longer have to worry about the SAIS system either. ;)

I thought about that, but its all wired for 6 connectors, so wouldnt I have to get a whole new wiring harness? And what DTC’s can the haltech control?

I realize you said get the 05-08 harness. But wouldnt I have to replace the entire harness and engine harness?

Great thread on your build. Curious if you can link me to a thread on replacing the rear drums with discs?

    Thanks bud!
I didn't document the rear upgrade well but I should have some pics. It was a pain in the ass to get the spring clips on. @Torspd got that call... Haha. I remember that! I also had to cut off the backing plates, and modify the axle housing for the abs sensor too. We'll worth it in the end. Stoptech on all four corners now.:D

    Hello there!

I feel like the best way to introduce myself is as the guy who googled this truck before I bought it.

    Short story:
I needed a truck for work that was also fun. Thinking SVT Lightning, SRT-10 Ram, and that was pretty much it.

Found this peculiar add for this EXACT truck in Hollywood, FL and confirmed it was the same truck in this build thread.

The story is interesting to say the least but more on that later. Anyways, I traded in my NEWER, LOWER MILEAGE vehicle (2012 Nismo 370Z) And I was also payed cash on top, so ultimately a fair trade for me.

I love the quality parts and work put into this truck. With experience building turbo vehicles, I will continue to improve this truck. My last project was a 1995 Audi S6 Avant with an RS2 turbo and Vems standalone ecu. That 2.2L put down about 350awhp.

    Back to the truck -

Immediately I performed an oil change and trans fluid flush just to check for any potential particulates or damage. No issues so far!

Plans for the next two weeks are as follows:

    - Order fittings and 3/16 stainless hardlines and replace all the silicone vacuum hoses for peace of mind

    - Make a bronze clutch pedal bushing on my lathe to reduce side-to-side slop. If I'm happy with the finished product, I will make more for anyone interested in a solution for this issue.

    - Check condition on drivetrain/motor mounts and look into solutions to reduce drivetrain shock

    - Look into replumbing the catch can and updating to a Mann Pro-vent unit.

Thats pretty much it for now!
