Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
It was a kind of bittersweet goodbye, like saying goodbye to an old friend. But, this weekend I will be bringing home a 2004 double cab to replace my 2011. Hated to see my access cab go, but I need more room and would like the power of a v6 under my foot instead of a 4 cylinder. At least I'm not one of those guys that sells his Tacoma and gets a Dodge, right? Haha, that seems to happen here a lot. Anyway, here's the double cab I got and am hopefully picking up this weekend if the funds made off the sale of my 2011 go into my bank account tomorrow.

It's nearly unheard of to find a first gen double cab with low miles on it like this. I really found a gem here I think. It will get a lot more racked up on it too, I am on the road all over the state for work so I need a good trusty old Tacoma to get me there. Long live my 2011, I hope he is taken good care of like he was with me. The guy that got him was real enthusiastic about it and got a screaming deal so he should take good care of the truck. From 2nd gen to 1st, not complaining. I love the looks of the first gen double cabs, they are something you don't see all the time.

Nice looking 1st gen for sure. Good luck with it, make sure the frame isn't rusted out before buying.
