    The engine is solid. The biggest thing to check for is frame rust. Many trucks have had the frames replaced by Toyota due to failure from rust others have had them coated in a rust sealant. You don't want to buy one with a bad frame. If the rear leaf pack has 2 springs plus the overload block on the bottom, it should be replaced with aftermarket or the OEM 3 leafs plus overload. The 2 leafs are known to fail, break and puncture the fuel tank. There is a recall to replace them.
