Looking back on this past year with my Tacoma, we had some good times. Great memories on hunting and fishing trips in AZ, CO, and all over Texas. Many more to come in 2020.

Feast or famine. Really all about timing right now. Fishing just as a front hits is great or the moment the wind dies down from a front. Trying to catch another trout over 30” this year, possible, but not easy chasing 1% of the population.

 

Few pictures from Big Bend NP and Big Bend Ranch SP with my son. Had a blast, drove just about every bit of dirt road there is in Big Bend NP.

Drove to NM for work this week, got 17 mpg 2nd tank of gas, and 16.5 mpg the first. Driving 80 mph most of the time, not bad. I was getting 14 mpg, so I took the roof rack off and cleaned my AFE pro dry. Seems to help a lot.

Found some nearly free 17” FJ rims. 17” pizza cutters cost much less, these ought to work. Idea is to save my old tires which have a lot of life and put on similar size AT’s.
