After 15 months of "light use", as in sitting in my yard, being driven once a week and trying to keep the mice away with peppermint oil, my truck is working it's doors off for the last few weeks.

A house my wife bought in town, 25 years ago, as a "starter home", is now empty after the last tenant moved out, and the the contract with the leasing management company expired. However, it appear that the management company did a great job of collecting rent and not so good at maintenance. Since then, my taco has been in daily use hauling building materials, tools, equipment, and demolition refuse and has not skipped a beat yet. I am sharpening my skills at finish carpentry, drywall repair, painting, window installation and electrical work. Luckily the plumbing and HVAC systems are good.

There was some excitement last week with a shoot out at the Lowe's right after I left with a case of caulk (windows needed some attention).

I can say that I have flushed out all the old gas, and perhaps an oil change is in my future...

Lear commercial topper, 265R75-16 Michelin LTX-MS tires, moderate suspension upgrades and light miles at 130k. Right now the bed is full of demolition debris with the dump opening in a few minutes.

I hope everyone else is getting their trucks back in daily use with society reopening. My truck is eager to return to camping trips and live music venues.
