First off, nice forum. Lots of great info.

So I just traded by 09 DC for the 11 DC LB last night.

? - Can I simply install the Bilstein 5100 shocks in front and AAL in rear to get a couple of inches of lift without screwing up the alignment / anything else. I would like it to maintain the factory ride as much as possible.

Never lifted a truck, but would like a little more aggressive stance. Plan on keeping the BFG Rugged Trail 265/65/17 that are on it.

    Info is appreciated.

    Thanks.

    ummm yeah
will need alignment......unless you set billies at zero which is not what you seem like you are gonna do

    Good choice on lift!

I'd adjust your front 5100's to .85 or 1.75 to keep a closer to factory ride. I think some people do that much lift without doing an AAL. U could look into getting the rear leaf TSB also.

You'll need a new alignment for any lifting you do.

You'll be able to fit slightly larger tires also, if u wanted. Stock or lifted.

Rear Suspension TSB, Bilstein 5100 on all 4 corners-fronts set at 1.75". BFG A/T's @ 265/75/16; Access LE Roll-up cover; Iron Cross Tube SS Steps; Fumoto valve; WeatherTech Liners; AFE Pro-Dry; front side windows tinted 20%; TW Decal!
I bought the 5100's prior to having the suspension TSB done. I gave the 5100's to the dealer to use in place of the yellow billies. The dealer set my 5100's at 1.75, and the TSB included an alignment. The dealer let me keep the yellow billies to boot- I sold them here.

Ok, so my truck is new as of last night so I am sure the rear leaf TSB is out.

If I buy the 5100's and set them at 1.75 will the back end sag?

The rear leaf TSB replaces your stock three leaf pack with a new four leaf pack. It gives maybe an inch or so of lift. I read somewhere here that it is available for the 2011's now. It's something you have to talk to the dealership about.

Not quite sure what you'll need in the back if u put your 5100's at 1.75. Someone else should know better..

How is the ride with the 5100's at 1.75 and the rear TSB completed? Is it really stiff if not loaded, or do you even notice it?

Can't help ya there, I have this lift and I love it. Great ride also. It's about 2.5 inches up front. Just another option for ya...

I have 5100's at 1.75 and TSB. Rides better than stock IMO. Not stiff, but more stable than stock.

They are for the FJ Cruiser. I can't find the actual part number. Just do a search for "black TRD center caps", and one of the posts has that information. Some people say you may have to install them with two sided tape, but mine fit perfectly. Had them on since June and haven't lost one yet.

Anyone have the TSB done to the rear and not do anything to the front? Wondering how it would look? Thanks

Thanks guys. I just ordered a set of 5100s for the front. Gonna set them at 1.75 and get the TSB done for the rear.

    Too few to list.
I have a LB with the TSB leafs and the rears measures about 37 inches from the ground to the center of the fender well. I believe the fronts are about 34.5 inches so setting the 5100's at 1.75", you should still have a rake. The ride with the 5100's are better than stock. When I replaced my stock shocks, they were actually stiffer than the 5100's. I compressed both before installing to see what the difference was.
