Thanks Roy, I cannot wait to pick it up. Saving lots of pennies for that cap after seeing your pics! We need a subforum now.
Congrats! I had a 2002 S60 not the turbo 2.4. It got great gas mileage and was a pleasure to drive very luxurious. I remember this button you could push to flip the rear headrests. I did it accidently once or twice on a poor unsuspecting passenger. LOL they didn't how the heck it happened. I did not have any issues other than the rear passenger area wasn't that roomy & there was no place for coffee cups.

What color is it? Mine was a very light green with tan leather. Heated seats! Nice! Also lil washer wipers on lights.

White! And tan leather also, if I end up being the one driving it, it sure as hell beats the 20MPG or so I get on the highway with my truck now. Most of my friends aren't that tall anyways, I dont know if it even really feels "turbocharged" i still feel like my tacoma has more power lol.

How come you had to part with your volvo? :(

The thing thats confusing the hell out of me is i read reviews about the 01 S60, and its SO mixed, some say its a great reliable car, some say not so much..

That's with every vehicle. Put pros in onehand and cons in another and see which fills up faster :D

Only experience I had with an S60 was a turbo model on a test drive. Really cool lookin car, but extremely cramped for foot room and the pedals were too close together for my clown shoes. It was pretty quick, popped the hood and there was a CAI on it and who knows what else.

Pulled the jeep this weekend with the tundra. Towed like a dream. Didn't even notice it was back there and plenty of power to spare!

sorry so late getting back to you.
It was my mom's car initially. She wanted a different car so I got to drive it for awhile after she bought her newer car. I ended up selling it for her since she owned outright. I only sold it because it wasn't mine.

That too and the fact that you have a good tandem trailer and that you have your load in the right place, this makes all the difference in the world:D

Well then I'm glad that Volvo lasted you a while.

I already know that the tires, brakes, fluids, maybe spark plugs, and maybe the air filter need a changing.

seeing how the OP chooses to advertise his political choices...

I'd suggest a GM full size truck. That way he is in full support of the administration.

    Thread Revival much?

I'd pick a tundra honestly, my dad has an 01' and its a damn tank! 228K+ and still runnin' like a charm. Toyotas just dont stop when taken care of properly.

    Tundra for sure

Once I discovered that ford uses plastic pistons in their brakes I lost all faith.

Now a silverado vs a tundra would be a different story. Silverado for sure.

I got rid of my 2007 Tundra 5.7. I was not impressed with the build quality of that truck. I'd had 3 toyota's in a row before it and the thing was at the dealer for warranty work more times than I care to count. Both power door locks broke, drivers power window, the water pump sprung a leak. All at around 50k. I was just waiting for the air induction pump to go and leave me stranded (google that one). I kept it waxed up real nice though. So one day while I was at the dealer a manager approached me and asked if I wanted to trade it. So I did. BUT I'd still buy one over a Ford. As stated above, a Silverado I'd take. But I'd dump it after 3-4 years.

I'll be interested to see what the new Silverado and Tundra will have in store. Right now though for me F150 hands down.

How does one find a thread like this after a year? Not like you're searching for a commonly asked topic.
