Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
I just did a quick little comparison on KBB for an 07 Tundra Double Cab SR5 (4 door, 6.5ft bed, 4x4, V8 4.7L, 50,000 miles, good condition) against an 07 F-150 SuperCrew Cab XLT (4 door, 6.5ft bed, 4x4, V8 4.6L, 50,000 miles, good condition) and the Tundra was worth about $1,000 more. So I'd say the Tundra has a slight edge in resale value.

In the end though I'd get a Tundra. I am a Toyota guy and I know the reliability is there.

I know toyota is having a really hard time selling tundras. That means you can really talk them down. Not sure about Ford, but I'm sure they will move down the price a bit.

Well, the Tundra might be a grand more because it's the current generation. The F-150 has changed since 2007. I'd expect that to have an effect.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
F150's will not hold their value as well simply because of supply and demand. There are so many out there that as a seller they have to be priced to move. Other factors do effect resale, but that is the biggest reason.

But what did they cost in 07? I bet the tundra was over $1000 more than the F-150 off the lot

That's a joke to put Dodge in the conversation, unless you don't mind a truck only lasting 2-3 years.

x2 NO RAM. That's the truck we had before my tacoma (02 RAM 1500) and that's when we decided we wanted a reliable truck. Like I said toyotas have been in our family for a loonggg time, never a single problem.

The dodge went out right about 100K

I'd say get the truck that you like. As long as it does the job you need it for.

One of my customers has a F-150 Raptor and bent his frame...he said he wasnt beating on it hard at all cause it only has 12,000 mi on it...he couldnt believe it so he not sure if he going to gt rid of it or fix it and reinforce that area in frame...but that shouldnt of happened only reason why I said this cause they ride on same platform....oh I voted for tundra but F-150 look good to

That is the problem with the Tundra and Toyota still hasn't fixed it.

And that video is legit too, I've seen Tundras on bumpy roads here and their bed bounces considerably more than my truck or any other truck that I happen to see pass over the same bit of road.

I really like the new F150s. Like Ford too.

I'd rather have the Tundra. The base model D/C 4.7 I had for a week or so as a rental was an awesome truck. The 5.7 4x4 would be badass.
