2011 Factory Head Unit Issues

Hi All-
My factory head unit in my 2011 DC was acting weird this morning. It shut off on it own then wouldn't turn back on. I pressed a few buttons and the display lit up but did not display any information. It eventually began working again but then shut off again on its own.

It was about 10 degrees F this am so maybe thats part of the problem. I remember something like this happening once before and not since so I never had it looked at.

I probably won't be able to recreate this issue for the dealer so what should I do? Will they replace the head unit based on my experience or will they have to see it happen? Truck is still under warranty so I would like to have it taken care of now if possible. I hear these units are very expensive

I have issues with my head unit too, but ONLY when it is cold as hell and the truck has not warmed up yet. Once it warms up, it works just fine.

They would leave the truck overnight and try to recreate the problem in the morning.
