How is it a green perspective when they have the same displacement as a Civic right now? Its just half the cylinders - not the power. All this is is Berny throwing a wrench into the mix (like usual) and sending the sport in a non sporting direction. HE also said that is it with America but look whats coming next year.

 

Don't for a moment think im defending the green perspective. Im a firm believer that the only rule in formula one is the thing has 4 wheels, a common cylinder count, and an open cockpit. Other than that, let the engineers run wild. This is meant to be the height of motorsport, not the choked formula they are heading to.. Nor should it be mistaken, that Mr. Mosley has had a large hand in where things are going right now.

The DRS system is interesting to me. They can only use it through a certain number of turns and behind the next car by no more than a second? 12-13mph advantage.

 

They can only use it in a designated area , usually the main straight in a race , it is only available when they are less than 1 second behind the car in front .

In qualifying they can use it whenever they wish .

 

not gunna lie, most these rules seem like a bad highschool sports game lol

highest numbers i've seen are 317 kph which would be 197mph..........
