    Who's going to Austin? I want to go real bad but I can see it getting retardedly expensive.

    Any one here in the Austin area? Any idea if there is any camping close to the track area? I am wondering if camping would be the way to go?

    Man I would love to go. I want to be at the first race at that track. Then go a year later to the one in Jersey. Austin may end up being too far but Jersey is only 3 hours from me.

    Its just far enough for me to be a 2 day drive. And thats 2 long days. 1300 miles each way and $400 in gas. For me to see all 3 days thats going to be a one week vacation. Then to deal with parking/camping. I am thinking it might be easier to fly out and take shuttles and stay in hotels?

    Any one know if the sky sports thing will change how we see it in the states? I have been watching f1 on directv on the speed channel. Is that going to change?

    I have been inquiring about the same type of thing , but up here we see it on TSN , which picks up the BBC feed .

    Sky Sports has the rights to all the live races , BBC is allowed to broadcast them delayed . As most races are at 4 am PST , and I record them , I don't really care if they are delayed broadcasts .
