Should I start a new 2012 F1 thread or just change the name of this one ?

 

New one. Maybe first post with some rules changes? Team drivers? Pictars?

I already bought my tickets to the Montreal race this year .

 

Yea I'm just encouraged for the tracks progress that they are preparing for ticket sales. They had me scared for awhile.

 

I still wouldn't be suprised if it's not ready for this year .

They are taking reservations for tickets , but not selling tickets yet , right ?

That says to me they are still unsure as well .

The had to cancel the reveal at Maranello because the test track is buried in snow

 

The second page of that linked forum had pics of it in the snow. Wonder if Massa wanted them to find some studded tires just for lols.

I wonder if the step in the nose couldn't be blended more? It looks steep enough to cause a bit of an air pocket that would direct flow above the driver. Advantage perhaps?

Force India (VJM05) introduced. Looks the nicest to me out of the cars that got a nose job. Mclaren MP4-27 is the winner in the looks department so far.

 

The Force India looks like a platypus, or like the Ferrari wearing a moustache. Agreed the McLaren is the prettiest of the new cars. Also, it's shiny.

 

Should be a great year of racing 2012. Really great drivers out there this year.

The new ferrari is impressive, regardless of the looks, the engineers were able to design the whole front suspension in an upward trajectory to optimize air flow under the car is bloody impressive!!

I didn't notice the step in the top where the nose meets the car in the Ferrari earlier , that seems kinda odd .

Wonder if it gives some downforce ?
