My friend just bought a 2012 Tacoma and I own a 2011. I was upset when the new model came out 6 months after buying mine and was redisigned. I drove his and as far as I can tell it's not that different performance wise than mine. I do like the syling though.

So here's my question. Has anybody swapped the front end clip off a 2012 onto a 2011 or similar model? I guessing the brackets and holes are identical if not extremely close and it seems it wouldn;t be that hard. Just wondering if anybody has researched this or has done it themselves?

There's plenty of debate of a 2012 conversion, I've only seen a pic of one but can't recall where (it was on this forum).
