    So there have been a lot of threads about the shotty work being done for the pedal recall. Just curious if one of the guys floating around with a 2011 could enlighten us as to what the pedal configuration is on a 2011…..

    ...cause if they are different, in an attempt to fix the "problem"...then Toyota should be replacing the old pedals with THOSE...and NOT Ginsu-ing the bottom of ours.

    I am sure they have a cleaner solution on trucks rolling off the line, but it may be non-retrofitable (is that a word). That is what I am trying to find out anyway. They could have relocated the pedal higher in the fire wall or changed the floor board stamping. Who knows. I guess we will have to wait and see....

    2011 gas pedal is the same as the 2010 gas pedal. The media firestorm is over...their goal accomplished...there will be no recall on the 2011 gas pedal..nothing to see here...move along. :D
